Mission Statement
At The Young Children’s Academy, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique Preschool offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, children reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease. The educational programs at The Young Children’s Academy were created with our children’s needs in mind: to mature and develop in a safe yet stimulating environment. Toddlers and 2’s
We know it is important to allow for uninterrupted child- directed play. Our One’s and Two’s each have an age appropriate, safe, comfortable, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which to play and explore. Their daily routine includes exploring inside and outside, creative play, fine motor and large motor development opportunities, and lots of social interaction. And we have the best teachers around!
3/4 Preschool Program
Our 3 and 4 year old Preschool Program is designed with the goal to prepare every child for success with their educational future, especially in our VPK program. Our Teachers help develop each child’s building blocks for academic achievement by providing them with the developmental tools needed for academic knowledge. Our program allows for a balance of interactions with peers through both child-directed activities and teacher-led instruction.
